The Wild Wood Group has now carried out regular autumn maintenance work. On a beautiful sunny morning saplings were planted in the last of the gaps and staking/supports to the trees were checked. The organisers wish to thank all those who came to help.
The project is creating a native wild wood with planting carefully planned with native species only which will ultimately create an truly native space.

A watchful eye is also kept for muntjac deer rubbing against the young tree trunks.
If you would like to join the group find contact details for the organisers on the Wild Wood Group page.
