A Festival of Poetry to include a poetry writing workshop, poems, choral speaking, an inter-school poetry competition and poems from two World Wars. The event, over two days will also have the services of an adjudicator from The British Federation of Festivals.

This month the lunch will be on TUESDAY 10th JULY The Memorial Village Hall will open at 12pm and the meal will be Toad in the Hole with potatoes and vegetables served by Carol Hubbard at 12.45pm.  This will be followed by Jam sponge, tea and coffee.  We look forward to seeing you there. Please book a place, at £6, with Shirley by 5.00pm on Friday 6th July.
