Tchaikovsky’s First Piano Concerto has one of the most famous of all openings, with its attention-demanding horn calls and its grand piano chords. Audiences have always loved it, and in due course, it became the first classical music to sell a million records. Music for Another Summer Evening

image of wind octet intrumentsFor your diary, The Churchgate Wind Octet and vocal group return to St. Mary’s, Walsham-le-Willows at 7.30pm on Saturday 15th July. Last year they delighted us with a perfectly paced and varied programme and we hope their concert will become a regular summer fixture. Come and enjoy a glass of wine and St.Mary’s in its summer finery as you listen to these accomplished musicians. Tickets £5 on the door which includes a glass of wine. All profits go to St. Mary’s Church.
