Neighbourhood Plan Drop-In Event Success

walsham le willows neighbourhood plan 'working together' logoThe drop in event was a great success and the footfall and the numbers of people saying they wanted to be actively involved took the organisers by surprise.  The Chair, Phil Newby, has thanked everyone for contributing to the success of the event.  A truly brilliant result.

Suggestions collected on post-it notes around what may become the main strands of the plan, will now be transcribed and made available.  There were around 140 signatures in agreement with the Parish Boundary as the Plan Boundary which is more than statistically significant for Walsham.

An application will now be submitted by the via the Parish Clerk.  This will mean that the Walsham will then be recognised by the District Council as a Live Neighbourhood Plan Parish.

A Wash-Up meeting will be held on July 4th at 7pm in the Blue Boar.   On the agenda, as well as a drink, will be the picking of the winning entries from the  competition to create a Neighbourhood Plan logo (children from the village stepped up enthusiastically to this task) and to talk about how the working groups will be set up to run over the summer and how promotion will be organised for Garden’s Weekend.

Come and get involved, come along on Wednesday!
