Photo of leaving is a must before setting off for Wells.  Chew up the road with Chew Magna, Stoke Chew and Chew Lake, before having a break at Harptree. Then a hard climb up to the top  of the Mendips, along with a number on a charity ride.

Interior Wells CathedralThen fast descent into Wells and a tour of the cathedral.

Afternoon starts off well, but The Levels were some way off after those round Wookey, and a little beyond.

At Glastonbury there was intermittent mizzle, but at Borrowbridge the taps were turned on and the roads were flooded.  As in all good stories it all turns out well; the sun came out and the hospitality from Tiggie was excellent.

Walsham would not be the same without the village church and the regular sound of the church bells.
If you would like to sponsor this act of pedalling lunacy, taking in a number of Cathedrals in England Wales and Scotland whilst covering a distance of some 2,500 miles, then please complete the sponsor form
