Another day when a little route planning was required, but not much  –  just to get me to Breadwedine, and then I was riding on the other side of the Golden Valley, which last time I had ridden it I got soaked. No different this time.

After a climb out of Kington I had the luxury of a descent, which threatened to take me to the bowels of the Earth, followed by a wet ride into Hereford. Cathedral  –  but no Mappa Mundi (It was Tuesdi  –  Ho! Ho!)  –  a cafe and a donation and then I was off on my wet way to Worcester.

Quite flat then a little hilly. Cathedral, tea and sympathy and then thankfully some kind of track by the A449 to keep me from under the wheels of the commuter traffic and arrive in Malvern tired but intact!!

Walsham would not be the same without the village church and the regular sound of the church bells.
If you would like to sponsor this act of pedalling lunacy, taking in a number of Cathedrals in England Wales and Scotland whilst covering a distance of some 2,500 miles, then please complete the sponsor form
