Suffolk Highways are planning to carry out pre footway resurfacing repairs and footway resurfacing along C555 The Street, Walsham Le Willows.
The works are programmed to take place between 8th and 12th August 2022. The road will be closed each day between 8am and 4pm to ensure that works can be carried out safely.
For the duration of the road closure, traffic will be diverted via Summer Road, Sumner Road, A143, B1113, Walsham Road, Finningham Road, and vice versa. The Street between Summer Road and Wattisfield Road (Finningham Road) will be access only.
Roadworks are planned in advance, with extra days scheduled to allow for bad weather or other delays beyond the control of the contractors. If major changes to the work dates are required, information signs on site will be updated.
When roads are closed Highways put a diversion in place, that is accessible to vehicles of all shapes and sizes. Diversions are made as clear as possible along the route.
