William Clamp’s shop – the shop with the blinds. Now known as the Old Stores

Old Photograph showing a traction engine accompanied by three smartly dressed gentlemen, and followed by what appears to be a horse and carriage of some sort which seems to be full of at least a dozen or so more gentlemen in top hats. This procession (which is approaching the photographer), is proceeding along Walsham’s main street and is about to pass William Clamp’s shop, now known as the Old Stores. The photograph appears to be of a funeral procession.
