Suffolk Libraries provide a library service throughout Suffolk with Walsham’s main local library being in Bury st Edmunds with convenient branches at both Ixworth and Elmswell. The library service loans books, CD’s and cassettes. Books etc. can also be reserved or renewed by using the Suffolk Librarie’s Direct website, just go to www.suffolklibraries.co. uk
Bury St Edmunds also contains a comprehensive reference library, a large childrens section and also several computer outlets that are available for use by the public.
Another extremely useful service is provided by the Mid Suffolk Mobile Library which has several different routes covering villages throughout Mid Suffolk, and the route which includes Walsham is known as "Route 2".
